Although he started out as a writer, Yanick Bédard quickly developed a passion for digital marketing and strategy, and went on to hold numerous positions, such as information architect, strategist, account manager, director, and now vice-president. Yanick heads the user experience (UX) and digital strategy teams, while also acting as a consultant to many clients. The industry acclaim he received for his projects earned him an honorary degree from Université de Montréal’s communications department, a certification awarded to students for their accomplishments in the industry over the last 30 years. He’s been a strategic advisor for Fasken, a leading Canadian law firm, as well as the project manager for the digital transformations of companies such as SAQ, Cirque du Soleil, Rona, STM, Vidéotron and MAAX. He also advised the product design UX team for Samsung’s mobile division.
A human encyclopedia, Yanick has an extensive collection of books (some of which – you guessed it – are on the subject of digital marketing). In addition to reading, Yanick spends much of his free time travelling and playing video games.
